About Stakker

What is Stakker?

Stakker is a free iPhone app that gives your newsletters a place of their own. You get an address of your own, you subscribe with it, and every edition arrives in a stack made for reading instead of in the middle of your personal or work email.

Newsletters deserve better

Newsletters are some of the best writing on the internet, and most of them arrive in the same place as receipts, calendar invites and messages from your bank. Stakker moves them somewhere made for reading. Your email stays as it is. Your newsletters get their own home.

How it works

  1. Sign in with Apple or Google. You get an address of your own at stakker.co straight away. It never changes.
  2. Subscribe. Find a newsletter in Discover by name or topic and subscribe in a tap, or type your Stakker address into any publisher’s own sign-up form.
  3. Read. Editions arrive in your stack, laid out exactly as the writer set them: their images, their buttons, their typography. Links open inside the app, so you never lose your place.

What makes it different

  • A stack that ends. Unread editions are ordered, not endless. When the last one is read, the app says so.
  • Nothing arrives uninvited. A sender you never subscribed to waits until you say yes.
  • Your rhythm, measured. Stakker measures how often each newsletter actually reaches you, so you know what you signed up for.
  • Headlines. Pick the topics you follow and the day’s headlines sit beside your newsletters. They disappear after two days, because a headline is not an archive.
  • Privacy by design. Stakker never reads your personal email and never asks for access to another account. Read the privacy policy.

Who it is for

People who subscribe to more newsletters than they manage to read, and who would rather read them with intent than skim them between other messages. If you follow fashion houses, design studios, car makers or newsrooms, the Stakker catalogue has more than two hundred of them ready to subscribe to.

Who makes it

Stakker is an independent app made in Stockholm by A-Y Exp AB. Questions and feedback go to support@stakker.co.
